Bass Pro Shops hosts first ever Dog Days Family Event
Experience the first ever Dog Days Family Event including great sales, prizes, seminars, and more.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – For the first time ever, Bass Pro Shops is hosting Dog Days Family Event, which includes free seminars and activities for pets and owners, great sales for man’s best friend, and giveaways and drawings. All furry friends, from lap dogs to hunting dogs, are invited to visit participating Bass Pro Shops stores across the U.S. and Canada during the 2015 Dog Days event, held March 6 and 7 and March 13 and 14.
Bass Pro Shops Dog Days provides all dog owners, whether they have a Pomeranian or a pointer, a chance to win great prizes, take a family a photo with their pet, attend free seminars, and shop exclusive sales on all the latest pet gear.
Store activities include health and wellness checks by local veterinarians, micro chipping*, grooming demos, training seminars, giveaways, and more. Activities vary per store. Owners and pets attending have the chance to win prizes including a GoPro® HERO4 Silver Camera, a PetSafe® Drinkwell® Stainless Steel Fountain, and a Petmate® Dog bed, bowl, and toy.
Dog Days Activities for Fridays, March 6 and 13:
6 p.m.
* Free Seminar “Socializing and Crate Training your Dog.”
* The first 20 customers and pets to attend the seminar will receive a free Nite Ize clip.
* Free Grillerz dog treat with purchase (while supplies last).
Dog Days Activities for Saturdays, March 7 and 14:
11 a.m.
* Free Seminar: “Teaching Your Puppy to Sit and Heel.”
* The first 100 dogs to attend the event will receive a free doggie gift bag including a Fetch Ball and Doggie Bag Dispenser.
11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
* Receive a FREE 4X6 photo and certificate showcasing dog’s paw print. Photos can be shared at #bassprodogdays
* Free Grillerz dog treat with purchase (while supplies last).
2 p.m.
* Free Seminar: “Keeping Your Dog Safe in the Outdoors”
Event is available in all store locations except Branson, Missouri, and Miami, Florida.
Due to city ordinances in Dania Beach, Florida, Manteca, California, Mesa, Arizona, and Spanish Fort, Alabama, dogs are not allowed in stores. Event will be held outside.
Pets visiting participating Bass Pro Shops stores need to be up-to-date on all vaccines, pet and child-friendly, and on a close leash at all times. Pet owners are responsible for their dog’s behavior.
