Good luck on the open water this season!

Late Ice is here and that means it’s time to chase crappie with tip downs. The nice warm days in the late ice season make tip down fishing easy, and allot of fun. See a few crappie fishing tips from our friend Barb Carey.

If you like to catch game fish through the ice you will need to check the regulations in the area you plan to fish. The game fish seasons have come to a close in most areas of the north but there is still plenty of opportunity to chase those toothy critters till ice out in certain areas, such as Devils Lake in North Dakota , Lake Of The Woods Minnesota , and the Great Lakes.
