Cabela’s MWC Announces 2011 Schedule

Oct. 28, 2010-Minnetonka, MN-World-class fishing, premier destinations and hefty payouts are on tap in the 2011 Cabela’s Masters Walleye Circuit schedule.

“We worked with divisional Angler Advisory Panels, sponsors, fisheries managers and site coordinators to select the best fisheries-at the peak fishing times-to put together a dream season of walleye fishing,” said the MWC’s Sr. Events Coordinator, Dan Johnson.

The MWC’s 2011 schedule is as follows:

Central Division
March 26-27    Illinois River, Spring Valley, IL
June 3-5    Mississippi River Pool 3/St. Croix River, Red Wing, MN
August 5-7    Bays de Noc, Escanaba, MI (Note: tournament will be run in conjunction with Cabela’s National Team Championship.)

East Division

April 16-17    Detroit River and Lake Erie, Trenton, MI
May 20-22    Lake Erie, Sandusky, OH
August 26-28    St. Mary’s River, Sault Ste. Marie, MI

West
June 24-26    Devils Lake, ND (Note: Will be run in conjunction with Devils Lake Chamber of Commerce Tournament.)
July 22-24    Lake Oahe, Mobridge, SD
Sept. 16-18    Cass Lake, Stony Point Resort, MN

2011 World Walleye Championship,
Oct. 13-15    Mississippi River Pools 9-10, Prairie du Chien, WI

The number of destinations featuring three-day events, to include a foul-weather day, has been expanded at the request of anglers. Watch for upcoming announcements on registration and special promotions at www.masterswalleyecircuit.com.

Cabela’s, the World’s Foremost Outfitter for hunting, fishing and outdoor gear, is entering its tenth season as title sponsor of the MWC.
