Dock-to-dock Autorouting, a unique breakthrough in boating navigation, quickly creates detailed routes even through narrow waterways and channels, based on chart data and navigation aids. It is available with a Navionics+ subscription in the Boating app for iPhone and iPad only.

Autorouting delivers the first and most efficient, real-time planning resource for boaters that provides functionality even beyond what’s commonly available in cars. With simple user input where boaters can choose a destination by selecting a point of interest, entering a lat/long or by tapping on the map, a detailed route is calculated. Estimated fuel consumption, distance, and ETA are shown. It even highlights precautions along the way.

Now with Navionics Boating version 8.4, POIs (points of interest) nearby the destination, like the harbor master, marinas and moorings, fuel stations, restaurants and bars, shops, taxis & launch services, repairs and dealers, appear automatically within the Autorouting menu, complete with phone numbers and other valuable information like VHF channels for marinas.

In the free Boating app, you can get Autorouting with the in-app purchase of a one year subscription to Navionics+. Tap Menu>Charts for a free one week trial. In any paid Boating app, Navionics+ is already included for a year.

Dock-to-dock Autorouting won the ADI-IBI Innovation award at Genova Boat Show 2015. It is also a nominee for the DAME Design Award in the Marine electronics & marine related software category at METS 2015 in Amsterdam. Visit our stand 02.432.

Autorouting is for general planning and reference only – it does not replace safe navigation practices and should never be your only reference source.

Navionics Boating is easily found on iTunes for iPhone and iPad, and Google Play for Android phone and tablet.
