Al’s Goldfish Lure Company Names Hunter Outdoor Communications Agency of Record

ELIOT, Maine (Oct. 14, 2021) — Al’s Goldfish Lure Company, designer and American-made manufacturer of the classic Goldfish lure and other innovative fishing lures and accessories, has named Hunter Outdoor Communications (HOC) as its agency of record. HOC will lead the brand’s media efforts and create an all-inclusive strategy and communications plan to increase awareness of the company and its products.

“We have owned the company since 2018 and have seen the company grow but we are ready to really move forward,” said Mandy DeBuigne, owner and president. “We chose to partner with Hunter Outdoor Communications because of their significant experience in the fishing and outdoor markets.

“We look forward to having an agency partner that will drive us to a new level of awareness and presence. It is time to take Al’s Goldfish Lure Company to the pinnacle of success and it is this team that can help us do just that.”

Hunter Outdoor Communications will lead media and public relations, influencer marketing, strategic partnerships, events, and social media on behalf of Al’s Goldfish Lure Company.

About Al’s Goldfish Lure Company
The company was launched in 1952 with a single pioneering spoon lure, known as Stuart’s Goldfish, named after founder Al Stuart. The company’s flagship lure was renamed Al’s Goldfish in 1954, and by 1973 the popularity of the Goldfish lure soared to nearly one million lures sold in a year. Along the way, other popular lures, such as the Forty-Niner and Helgy, and hook bonnet lure accessories were added to the company’s list of American-made products. In 2015 the line was expanded to include the Saltwater Goldfish series. In 2022, present owners Jeff and Mandy DeBuigne will celebrate the 70 year anniversary of the Goldfish lure.
