Shawn goes whitetail deer hunting with a rifle and bow in some of the steepest country you’ll ever see whitetail. He has seen a nice buck up here already, so he has a target, and it doesn’t take him long to find the 4X4 whitetail. It is pre rut, so he’s running with an equaly mature buck with a slightly smaller rack; not as symetrical or finished off. When Shawn first finds the buck, they are about 1000 yards. By the time he snuck into their vicinity, they had bedded down. A rattle of the antlers in conjunction with some grunting got the other buck to show himself. Shawn passes. The target gets up and begins slowly making his exit. One look and Shawn knew that was the buck he came in after. He sets the camera and takes the shot!
