MINNETONKA, MINN. – Nov. 15, 2011 – Ham Lake, Minn.-based angler Jimmy Bell has signed on with Crystal Farms Cheese to support his 2012 campaign in the FLW Outdoors Walleye Tournament. The company will outfit Bell’s Ranger boats and Chevy Silverado pick-up with graphics advertising its products.

Bell, who has competed in 33 tournaments since 2003, works as director of IT Infrastructure for Michael Foods, the Twin Cities-based parent company of Crystal Farms, which distributes more than 80 million pounds of cheese and nine million pounds of butter annually nationwide.

“Being a long-time employee of Michael Foods gives me a unique perspective as I promote Crystal Farms on the water and on the road,” said Bell, a professional angler since 1994. “As I travel around the country I will be able to represent the delicious, high-quality foods that Crystal Farms produces for consumers and their families.”

“We’re excited to have Jimmy help us promote our brand as part of the FLW Outdoors circuit and at the various sport shows he attends,” said John Crawford, senior director of marketing at Crystal Farms. “His boat and truck act as mobile billboards for our brand. He puts on about 25,000 miles a year. That’s a lot of exposure.”
