The bite on Saginaw Bay out of Bay City was a bit tougher for some today, but Tracker/Mercury Pro Gary Parsons stuck with his day one pattern wiring in a video very early in the day of a 27″ fish in the net. He added six more to his CRR ( Catch, Record, Release) total that averaged more than six pounds apiece to weigh in 43.05 pounds and take over the lead from Lindy/Navionics Pro Tommy Skarlis by less than two pounds.

Third place Tommy Kemos, fourth place John Kolinski, and fifth place Todd Riley all weighed in over 30 pounds today to put themselves in position to take a final day shot at Skarlis and Parsons.

Keith Kavajecz, Mike Gofron, Jason Przekurat, Gil Mollet, and Chad Schilling round out the top ten. The field was cut today by half; the top 23 head out on the water tomorrow as the rest of the field will head home or fish the Co Angler Shootout on the Bay tomorrow put together by Bay City Tourism.

Fair weather is predicted for Sunday’s AIM Finals. Pros head out on the water tomorrow from Veterans Memorial Park at 7:30 AM. The top five pros will be wired for LIVE GPS Tracking – viewable on the AIM website. Fans can track anglers on the water throughout the day and view live, in-the-boat videos.

Watch the AIM website at http://www.aimfishing.com for updates, images, and video interviews from the morning ceremonies tomorrow beginning at 7:30 AM EST. Live weigh-in webcast begins at 5:00 PM EST.
