NPAA Annual Conference Jan. 3rd Live Stream

Forestville, WI – The National Professional Anglers Association annual conference taking place  Jan. 2-4 will bring hundreds of industry leaders, experts in every aspect of  business, and pro fishermen together to network, learn and become more professional as ambassadors for the fishing and outdoor world.

The Minneapolis conference theme is “Proactive & Professional.”  It showcases a star-studded line-up of presentations about future angler events, conservation, social media, tournaments, sponsor relations, angling strategies, generating media, professionalism as a guide, creating a personal brand and opening address by Rick Cole formerly from In-Fisherman and a current Dale Carnegie speaker/trainer.  NPAA Partner displays (Manufacturers, Tournament Organizers, and outdoor non-profits) and breakout sessions will also take place during the event.

Attendees (members and non-members) may register Friday, Jan. 2 at the Airport Crowne Plaza, from 3 to 7 p.m. on January 2nd.  A bonus presentation from champion walleye anglers Mark Courts and Korey Sprengel will begin at 4:00 PM that day followed by the NPAA annual business meeting.  A Meet and Greet party runs from 6:30 to 8 p.m.  Presentations take place Saturday, followed by a Future Angler Foundation (FAF) banquet at 7 p.m.  The FAF Benefit Banquet presenting sponsors are Yamaha and Skeeter again this year, and admission to the banquet is included in the conference registration fee.  Sunday brings 6 break-out sessions on topics that every aspiring angler will be able to use to become an asset to the sport they love.

In conjunction with the FAF Benefit Banquet, the FAF is running a live auction at 8:00PM on Saturday night to sell a complete set of “Walleye Insider” Magazines that comes with a custom wood box donated by Bob Luellen owner of Worldwide Marine Insurance. This tremendous auction item includes a day on the water with legendary angler and NPAA Lifetime Honorary Member Al Lindner.  There is a video posted the NPAA site promoting this auction.  It can be viewed at http://www.npaa.net/watch.asp?id=7480  This auction is expected to bring well over a $1000 to benefit the FAF Future Angler Event Fund.  The general public can bid on that auction item up to midnight on January 2nd via e-mail.  E-mail bids to [email protected].
