AIM is pleased to announce the continued partnership with Navionics. Navionics is the leader in mapping technologies. These lake maps are integral to the LiveTrack™ GPS format. This technology allows the fans of the AIM Pro Walleye Series to track the top anglers on the final day of each tournament. The GPS links provide real-time tracking of the location and even the speed of the AIM Pro Anglers – overlaid on the Navionics lake map showing exact structures.

This technology is important to Navionics as it expands the tournament excitement well beyond the venue and reaches a broad audience. Spectators can follow tournament leaders as they fish the vast tourney waters with Navionics on the AIM website and even on their mobile devices thanks to the innovative Navionics apps for iPhone, iPad, Android and Nokia.

AIM and Navionics are excited to partner in a shared mapping effort centered on the AIM Sanctioned Series events. These tournaments span most of the U.S. and the goal is to add even more detail to Navionics’ award-winning cartography already available for Midwest lakes and rivers. Locating structure is crucial for walleye fisherman so the combined efforts of AIM anglers and Navionics Pro Staff Tommy Skarlis will be made available through Freshest Data updates. Freshest Data is a feature available within the World of Navionics – plug-and-play charts to mobile and PC apps.

Anglers Insight Marketing, LLC will conduct four Pro-Am walleye tournaments in 2011. These events include the three qualifying tournaments of the AIM Pro Walleye Series and the season-ending AIM International Walleye Championship™. These events pair the AIM Pro Anglers with a different Co-angler for each day of the three-day tournaments. AIM will also conduct a year-end championship for the top teams from the “Sanctioned Series”. The AIM International Team Championship™ pits the top teams from across the U.S. and Canada against each other in a tournament that also uses the CRR format. The 2011 tournament dates include:

April 20-22, Winneconne, WI (Wolf River Chain and Lake Winnebago)
June 2-4, Brimley, MI (Bay Mills Invitational)
June 22-24, Dubuque, IA (Mississippi River)
September 15-17, Akaska, SD (AIM International Walleye Championship)
September 15-16, Akaska, SD (AIM International Team Championship)
