Baudette, MN – Lindy Pros Eric Nesius (NPAA #110) ofArgusville, ND and Mike Christensen of Hunter Winfields Resort in Isle, MNteamed up September 13th-14th to take the coveted prizeof Minnesota Tournament Trail Champions on Lake of the Woods. The team weighed in 12 fish for a total of34.15lbs.
Eric and Mike attribute there success to two key movesduring the tournament. Upsizing therecrankbaits when targeting bigger fish and making a move on day two to followthe school of fish when others did not.
“It’s hard to appreciate how important those six small slotfish are on day one until your plan comes together on day two with two fishover 28”. This was the first tournamentMike and I have won together and it feels great,” said Eric.
With this finish Eric and Mike took home a 2013 WX 1850Skeeter boat package.
