Kirt Hedquist #292 held a “Fishing” Merit Class for Troop 268 In Lakeville, MN

NPAA member Kirt Hedquist #292 instructed and reviewed the “Fishing” merit badge with 16 Boy Scouts from Troop #268 from Lakeville, Minnesota. Covered topics from leave no trace, regulation’s, hook removal, types of fishing equipment, techniques and safety. At the end of the class each Boy Scout received a new spinning rod/reel combo from NPAA/Pure Fishing and a generous supply of terminal tackle and line from Northland Tackle. The Scouts where excited to head to Lake Marion to try out their new gear and knowledge. A special thanks to the NPAA, Fin-tech Tackle, Pure Fishing and Northland Tackle for making this class a success.
