Bemidji, MN – Northland Fishing Tackle announced today the hiring of Eric Naig as Senior Marketing Manager. Naig will be focused on marketing, product development and company outreach programs.
“All of us at Northland Fishing Tackle are very excited about the addition of Eric Naig to our team,” says Northland Fishing Tackle CEO, Gary Morgal. “Eric’s industry experience as a business manager, as well as his work with the professional angler side of the business will help us continue to grow our company. We look forward to our growth in new categories of products and new regions throughout the world. With Eric’s experience we will continue to be the company where anglers build the best fishing products for anglers”.
Prior to joining Northland, Naig spent six years with Pure Fishing, managing field services and public relations, as well as marketing and new product development. An accomplished angler, Naig also served for eleven years as a professional walleye tournament angler with the PWT and FLW/RCL circuits. Along with wife Kris, daughter Grace and son Tom, Naig will be relocating to Bemidji, Minnesota, longtime headquarters of Northland Fishing Tackle.
“I’m really excited to join Northland Fishing Tackle,” says Naig. “It will be fun to work with a company that was founded and has long been run like a small family business. The opportunity to work with John Peterson, who’s been a legend in this business, as well as John Crane and Gary Morgal, will be a real a privilege. I’m looking forward to learning from those guys, as well as contributing what I’ve learned during my time in the fishing tackle industry.”
