Attraxx Reels in FLW Outdoors Sponsorship

MINNEAPOLIS (Jan. 5, 2011) – FLW Outdoors announced Wednesday that Mystic Tackleworks, Inc. has agreed to a sponsorship with the world’s largest tournament-fishing organization. As part of the agreement, the new Attraxx line of soft baits will be promoted across all platforms of FLW Outdoors, including its tournaments, multiple websites, bass magazine, and various FLW Outdoors events.

Starting with the EverStart Series season opener on Lake Okeechobee, Attraxx will begin promoting the new line to tournament anglers. In addition, Attraxx will also have a booth at the FLW Outdoors Expo, which coincides with the 10 Walmart FLW Tour events and the Forrest Wood Cup. The Attraxx pro staff includes FLW Tour anglers Randall Tharp, Greg Pugh and Craig Powers.

Mystic Tackleworks President Howard Hammonds said, “We at Mystic Tackleworks welcome the opportunity to be part of the FLW family of sponsors and to promote our Attraxx baits to a great bunch of fishermen – especially the BFL fishermen. (The BFL)’s where I got my start in the fishing business.”

The Attraxx line of baits includes finesse worms, ribbontail worms, grubs, lizards, frogs, bugs and shad. Attraxx contains patented Sci-X Feeding Stimulants – the most advanced fish-feeding stimulants available, according to Attraxx representatives.

“My favorite bait is their frog, but I also really like the 10-inch worm,” said Tharp. “In fact, their frog is the best bait of that style I’ve ever used; the design is just perfect.”

Tharp also explained that each member of the pro staff is working on designing baits specific to their angling preferences.
