Chad Schilling is a successful Pro Angler on the AIM Pro Walleye Series and other walleye tournaments. Chad and Shonda Schilling also own a full-service guiding business that operates from Akaska, South Dakota on the shores of Lake Oahe.

Oahe Wings and Walleyes

The Akaska area is known as the ultimate walleye fishing destination (and is the home of the September AIM International Walleye Championship™. Oahe Wings & Walleyes offers guided fishing trips year-round for both walleyes and northern pike. Single day and three-day package trips are available, as well as do-it-yourself packages.

But the Akaska area is also a famous destination for hunting deer and pheasants. Oahe Wings & Walleyes offers all-inclusive, 3-day guided pheasant hunting packages each fall. Hunts include accommodations, meals, guides, transportation in the field, cleaning and freezing birds, and even trained dogs!

For 2011, Oahe Wings & Walleyes has renewed their Marketing Partnership with AIM. Chad and Shonda Schilling are providing two packages of 3-day pheasant hunts to the participants and fans of the 2011 AIM Pro Walleye Series. Each package includes pheasant hunts for four hunters valued at $4,800. These combination packages will be offered on a “silent auction” basis leading up to the Winneconne, Wisconsin and Dubuque, Iowa tournaments. The winning bidders will be announced on Day Three of each tournament.

“I am pleased to promote my guiding business by partnering with AIM,” Chad said. “The Akaska area offers unbelievable pheasant hunting, as well as the chance of harvesting sharp tail grouse, Hungarian partridge, and prairie chickens. This partnership with AIM will help highlight the bird and deer hunting opportunities in the area. It also demonstrates that I am 100% behind the innovations that AIM is bringing to the world of competitive angling, including the exclusive AIM Catch-Record-Release™ format.”

Bids for these two hunting packages can be submitted by email to [email protected] or by telephone to the AIM office by calling 920-526-3399. The bidding starts at $1,600 for each four hunter package, that is, one-third of the regular package price. A credit card number will be used to guarantee the bid – but no charges will apply until the winning bids are announced. Bids will also be accepted onsite at the two tournaments beginning with the pre-event Rules Meeting. Bidding progress will be posted on a special thread on the AIM Forum. The bidding will close one hour before the Day Three weigh-in and the winning bidder will be announced on stage.

Anglers Insight Marketing, LLC will conduct five walleye tournaments in 2011. These events include the three qualifying tournaments of the AIM Pro Walleye Series and the season-ending AIM International Walleye Championship™. These events are a Pro-Am format where the AIM Pro Anglers are paired with a different Co-angler for each day of the three-day tournaments.  AIM will also conduct a year-end tournament for the top teams from the AIM “Sanctioned Series”. The AIM International Team Championship™ will place the top teams from tournament organizations across the U.S. and Canada in direct competition.
