Plymouth, WI – April 5, 2011

AIM has partnered with Come By Chance Resort to make a special offer to the participants and fans of the AIM Pro Walleye Series. The resort is located on beautiful Whitefish Lake, near Nolalu, Ontario which is 40 miles southwest of Thunder Bay, Ontario. Whitefish Lake is a prime fishery for walleye, jumbo perch, northern pike, and smallmouth bass. The area is a haven for fishermen year-round, as well as hunters, campers, and camera buffs.

Each cabin at Come By Chance Resort is self-contained and includes everything needed for a comfortable vacation. Guests need only bring their groceries and their boat. The resort includes a heated pool and children’s playground, a central lodge with a laundry and showers, and fish cleaning house.

Come By Chance Resort has provided AIM with a week’s stay at the resort. The week-long resort package is valued at $1,000. This resort stay will be offered to the participants and fans of the AIM Pro Walleye Series on a “silent auction” basis. The winning bid will be announced on June 4th (which is Day Three of the 2011 Bay Mills Invitational.) The resort package may then be redeemed in 2011 or 2012, subject to availability at the time of booking.

In addition to world-class fishing, the resort is also within an easy drive of Kakebeka Falls Provincial Park, 9 area golf courses, horseback riding, Lake Superior yacht charters, tubing and rafting, 4-wheeling, Amethyst Mine panorama, Eagle Canyon Adventures, Fort Williams Historical Park, Founders Museum and Pioneer Village, the Thunder Bay Museum, and shopping. It is truly a family resort with an unlimited variety of attractions.

Bids may be submitted by email to [email protected] or by telephone to the AIM office by calling 920-526-3399. Bids will also be accepted onsite at the Winneconne, WI (April 20-22) and Bay Mills, MI (June 2-4) tournaments. Bidding starts at half price, that is, only $500.00. Bids must be secured with a credit card number – but no charges will apply until the end of the bidding. Progress on the bidding will be posted online in a special section of the AIM forums.

Andy Janikowski of Come By Chance Resort said, “We are happy to offer AIM this special resort package. Walleye anglers are some of our most loyal visitors. Each year we also offer a Win Your Fishing Stay Contest where the angler who catches the biggest walleye, perch, and northern earn a free week’s stay! Last year the largest walleye was a 7 pound, 2 ounce trophy – although we have seen 10 to 14 pound giants! In addition to this contest, we always offer discounts to active and former military, police, and fire personnel.”
