Muskie Anglers Circuit Announces Minnesota 2010 Schedule

New Enduro Events Featured in Minnesota for 2010

The 2010 MAC Schedule was announced today at the Chicago Muskie Show. Executive Director Paul Hartman also announced the new Minnesota Enduro events on Leech, Cass, and Vermilion lakes.

The first 2010 event is scheduled for June 19 and 20 on Pewaukee Lake in SE Wisconsin. The Pewaukee qualifier will be a two day event.  Headquarters will be Smokey’s Muskie Shop, watch for special announcements.

Leech and Cass Lakes are the destination for the first MAC Enduro on August 20th and 21st. Anglers will arrive for the pre-event rules meeting at 3:30 PM with fishing beginning at 5 PM. The field will fish through the night until 8 AM, employing Paul Hartman’s Catch, Photo, Release format. This new format allows the best bites to be fished, evening, night, and morning. The MAC Live Webcasts Virtual Weigh In will take place at 9:30 AM. Headquarters will be announced the week of January 11th for both Lakes.

Stop number three will be Lake Vermilion out of Spring Bay Resort September 18th and 19th. The Vermilion MAC is also an Enduro, giving the field access to the Vermilion night bite. Watch for a special announcement from our Vermilion headquarters, Spring Bay Resort, on the MAC website soon.

The last stop for 2010 is the MAC Team Challenge in Madison, Wisconsin October 9th and 10th. Teams that have fished two events will be automatically signed in as top seeds for the State Teams. The top finishing team accumulating the most points will take home the traveling trophy and cash and prizes valued into the thousands and will be fishing for the MAC Madison first place payout of up to $17,500.00 as well.

Entry fees for the 2010 MAC are $500.00 per event. Teams should sign up early to secure starting positions through the qualifiers. The MAC website will be updated by January 26th with new rules and entry forms; until that time entry forms and on the telephone entries can be acquired by calling 715.680.9265 or 800.359.4416 during regular business hours ot emailing the MAC at [email protected].
