Chicago Muskie Expo Announces New Product Showcase

The Chicago Muskie Expo announced an exciting new addition to the all new Chicago, Illinois based show. The Chicago Muskie Expo New Product Showcase will offer show attenedees the opportunity to view the newest cutting edge Muskie fishing products in a special display area.
The New Product Showcase will feature innovative new products in a multitude of categories. The products, many making their marketplace debut, will contend for what is bound to be highly coveted Chicago Muskie Expo “Best of Show” award.
The New Product Showcase allows attendees of the show to see the NEWEST Muskie products in a multitude of categories, all in one location. Each entry will feature a product card which will give the name, price and booth location for purchase…attendees can walk out of the door with the latest products in hand!
Retailers, wholesalers, and media representatives will judge the products based on each product’s level of innovation, execution, workmanship and practicality. To allow for greater diversity of product entries, the New Product Showcase competition includes awards in 9 product categories as well as the overall “Best of Show” award.
Voting begins on Friday, January 9th, from 12:00 noon – 2:00pm during the New Product Showcase Preview Reception (for retiaslers, wholesalers, and media only).
Voting ends at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, January 9th at the end of the show. The Showcase will be open during show hours on January 9th-11th.
The Best of Show award will be announced Saturday, January 10th from the stage on the show floor.
The 2015 New Product Showcase categories will be:

* Apparel
* Boating Accessory
* Musky Rod
* Musky Reel
* Hard Lure
* Soft Lure
* Tackle Management
* Terminal Tackle
* Fishing accessory
At 1:00pm on Friday, January 9th, all New Product Showcase lures will be demonstrated in the Muskie Tank to allow media representatives and buyers to see the lures in action.
At 3:00pm on Friday, January 9th and at several other times throughout the weekend, all New Product Showcase lures will be cast in the tank for all attendees to see. This will offer an opportunity for anglers to see lures in action before they purchase them!
To enter new products, simply request and complete a New Product Showcase entry form. To acquire a form and then submit your entry, contact [email protected]. All product information will be kept strictly confidential until Friday afternoon’s preview reception.
The deadline for submitting a New Product Showcase entry will be Monday, December 15th 2014. Due to the anticipated high number of entries, there will be NO EXCEPTIONS to the deadline.
