World record bass lurking out there in Clear Lake

The recent string of trophy-sized bass caught out of Clear Lake has more than one angler wondering if the lake could possibly hold a world record. Just within the past two weeks there have been several 11 pounders, a 12-pounder, a 14-pounder and a 16-pounder caught, the 14-pounder landed on Tuesday and the 12-pounder on Monday.
