This is the aerial video from Columbus Fire & Rescue Drone showing the retrieval of the pontoon boat stuck on Lake Adger Dam in Sunny View, NC. If a news outlet wants to use this footage, give credit.

The pontoon broke free from it’s dock 4/14 during the severe storm that come through the area. Polk County Emergency Management was notified and requested Columbus Fire & Rescue to fly our drone to assess the damage on 4/15. No damage was done to the dam. Today, 4/16, NC Wildlife Officer’s connected their boat to a tree and connected a winch to the pontoon and pulled it off of the dam.
Units on scene were Polk County Fire Marshal, NC Wildlife Office, and Columbus Fire & Rescue.
