June 20, 2019 – Maryville, MO – (BUSINESS WIRE) – While it’s apparent the technology behind UV continues to catch the eyes of anglers worldwide and be a driving force in the industry with annual sales nearing $33 million, Tightlines UV Lure Company is set to unveil more than just a powerhouse line-up of baits this year at ICAST 2019.

“We’re pumped about our new baits, we’ve designed some new stuff for just about every type of fish in the water,” Tightlines UV President and CEO Brett Ware said. “But we are also extremely excited to feature our new Tightlines UV Home Décor.”

Ware stated the decision to expand the company’s product portfolio has been in the works for quite some time; however, due to the overwhelming response to the brand’s Whisker Bait Series, it’s taken longer than expected.

“It’s always been a goal to incorporate other hunting and fishing products within our brand; and while we have released some smaller items over the years, 2020 will be the launch for the most extraordinary things we have brought to our brand so far,” Ware noted. “ICAST will be the first time these items will be presented to the distributors and media, and we think they will really be impressed with what they see.”

According to Ware, he has also been working with his sales representatives from across the United States and in Canada to answer requests they have received from the fishermen in their territories.

“We’ve had so many requests,” Ware stated. “We know we can’t always fulfill everyone’s wish list, but this year we worked hard to put out a diversified group of baits.”

Ware said attendees can also expect to see expansions made to the UV Sowbelly, as well as UV lures for ice fishing and UV baits designed for catching trout and pan fish. He added will be making an announcement regarding two licensing agreements and partnerships.

Tightlines UV Lures will be set up in booth number 3808. While Ware will be on hand for interviews, representatives will also be available to answer questions regarding the new UV baits and products. ICAST touts itself as being the world’s largest sportfishing trade show, helping to drive recreational fishing product sales year round. The latest innovations in fishing gear, accessories and apparel will be on display July 9-12, 2019, in Orlando, Florida.
