Big Whitetail from Vernon-ish, WI on 11/10/2010
This buck and I had a bit of a history this year, but only this year. I had a couple chance encounters within bow range, but EAB regulations in the CWD DMU I was hunting gave him the free pass. After earning my buck on October 4th, I had another opportunity with him, but shooting hours gave him yet another free pass. November 20th, the opening of the Wisconsin Gun Season was finally my time to seal the deal. What made the story all the better is he was in bow range when I dropped the hammer on him - wish I had my bow :)
