When it comes to safety, power and reliability, Claremont, Minn. walleye pro Brett King knows he’s got to have it all, every time he heads to the water. That’s why he’ll be kicking the throttle of a Suzuki 300-horsepower four-stroke on the transom of his new V203DC Warrior walleye boat.

“I’m blown away to have this opportunity and represent Suzuki Marine in the Professional Walleye playground this season,” said King, who will be representing both Suzuki Marine and Warrior Boats during the Minneapolis Boat Show Jan 31 – Feb 3, 2013.

“I couldn’t be more jacked to run the new Suzuki 300 paired with their 9.9-horse kicker with power tilt. Last year I drove more than 3,700 miles on the water, so I’ll certainly be proving the dependability and fuel savings that Suzuki four-strokes are famous for,” King continued.
This new rig, which also features drive-by-wire technology, is rated 14 percent more fuel efficient than other four-strokes, making it one of the most fuel-stingy on the water.

“Had I been running Suzuki’s DF300 with Lean-Burn Technology last season, I would have saved more than 250 gallons of fuel. Suzuki likes to say there’s no replacement for displacement, but I like to add there’s also no replacement for super fuel savings” King said.
The V203DC Warrior with a 30-inch transom paired with the Suzuki DF300 will be ready this season when the ride and the bite get bumpy. “That transom means I’ll have five more inches of freeboard to handle big water,” King points out.

“I want to personally thank Kent Andersen, Warrior Boats national sales manager, for facilitating the Suzuki and Warrior partnership. This is one winning team I’m proud to be a part of,” King exclaimed.
