Walleye Bag Limits Increased on Some Area Lakes in Wisconsin

SPOONER – Daily walleye bag limits for anglers are increasing as of Friday May 23 on 447 lakes in northern Wisconsin, including several lakes in Sawyer County.
The action is in response to the Chippewa tribal bands not taking the number of fish that they had targeted on various off-reservation lakes earlier this spring under their annual treaty spearfishing harvest declarations.
