Latest YouTube video is uploaded. We troll the new Rumble Sticks behind lead core on Lake Sakakawea.

We have been doing a lot of deep contour trolling lately and covering water really shines right now as we get into late summer. Seems like the fish are moving a lot and are scattered. The spots seem to get bigger and what you really have to watch is your bites per hour. If you can get a bite or two an hour, you are often in the general zone and just have to dial in the speed, lures and colors and wait out the windows of activity.

We attended the Clam Pro Day late last week where Clam unveiled their new shelter design. The new XT Frame is going to be a big hit for increasing the height of the shelter for using longer rods and running multiple dead sticks.
