The fifty mile per hour winds we had over the past few days ended our ice fishing season and, like many of you, our attention has turned to river walleye fishing. We have Green Bay, the Missouri River, and the Rainy River scheduled for filming his spring. We are excited to experiment with some new Northland Fishing Tackle Impulse plastic profiles. Lots of prototypes to work through this spring!
River fishing can sure change from day to day and finding and catching walleye right now is all about fishing on the fly. Don’t be afraid to assess the conditions and make adjustments. Most of the day can be spent reading water and simply trying to find fish.
