Robinson and Bernath Finish 2nd at Mattagami First Nation Walleye Tournament

Jamie Robinson NPAA member # 387 of Wawa, Ontario along with partner Terry Bernath placed 2nd at the Northern Ontario Walleye Trail’s (NOWT) first event of the season held at Mattagami First Nation June 1st and 2nd.  The event had 104 teams participating this year.

Robinson and Bernath had a solid day one, catching a six fish limit of 12.31 pounds and were in 6th place, however they were well behind the leaders which had an impressive 19.25 pound bag.  On day two Robinson and Bernath brought in the heaviest weight of the day 17.52 for a two day total of 29.83 and fell just short of the leaders from day one’s winning weight of 30.65 pounds.

Jamie and Terry’s last four NOWT events include one 1st place along with three 2nd place finishes.
