NPAA Member Jim Wedell Promotes Fishing to Youth at Expo in Minnesota

NPAA member Jim Wedell #895 participated in the Rockford – Greenfield community Expo on Saturday March 16th.   The organization Fishing Klinics for Kids attracted 70 kids who practiced casting into a five gallon bucket.  The kids were also taught fish identification, safety while fishing, ice fishing safe “guards” , water and wetland conservation, parts of the fish, and the AIS message of clean, drain and dry.

Sponsors of the event were: NPAA which donated fishing combos, the Minnesota DNR for fishing educational books and posters, Northland Fishing Tackle, Vexilar, and Rockford Community Education Department.  Everyone had a great time!!!
