NPAA member Greg Karch #138 hosted a Youth and Family Fishing Seminar

NPAA member Greg Karch #138 hosted a Youth and Family Fishing seminar at Smith Park in Menasha, Wisconsin on May 21st.  The seminar included a forty-five minute presentation on ‘Fishing Basics’ followed by Greg spending one-on-one time with the youths on casting.  ‘Fishing Basics’ seminar included the following; safety, details on open and closed face fishing combo’s, casting, fishing identification, knots, bait, part’s of a fish and what Greg’s tackle box consisted of when he was a youth.  Thanks to Dave’s Musky Club for donating the Plano tackle box and Northland Tackle Company for donating jigs, hooks, bobbers and sinkers to fill the tackle box.  The NPAA supplied the ‘Go Fishing’ educational book and T-shirts for the event.
