Full Throttle is adding four exciting bass tournaments to go along with four great walleye tournaments. Also, Full Throttle has added multiple new programs, described in detail below, to increase participation and add to the circuit’s payout to the angler.

Full Throttle pairs a fun, friendly, faith-based family atmosphere seamlessly with camaraderie and competition, free dinner, door prizes, and an inspirational message. Teams participating in the Full Throttle events range from top tournament pros to first timers, father-son, father-daughter, couples, weekend warriors, and other family combinations. Everyone is welcome to fish in any of Full Throttle’s events!

This year, the tournament circuit will include 4 bass events in addition to the 4 walleye events. Both events will be on the same day and location, and participants will have the opportunity to fish just walleyes, just bass, or both. Imagine winning two events in one day!

Tournament Dates:
April 14th    Mississippi River – Pools 3,4,5
June 23rd     Mille Lacs Lake
July 28th     Mille Lacs Lake
Sept. 8th     Mississippi River – Pools 3,4,5
Oct. 13th     Bass and Walleye Championship

Full Throttle is also presenting new, exciting additions to each of the qualifying FT fishing events to increase payout. For the first time ever, there will be an optional added bonus side pot with a 100% pay back to the teams that enter ($100 per team). The bonus side pot should dramatically increase the payout to the team who wants to enter for a bigger payback.

Another new program is the addition of Full Throttle Premier Teams. To qualify as a Premier Team you must sign up for all 4 events in a division and fish the Championship if you qualify. Premier Teams will be given a $100 bonus payback to the highest placing of the Premier Teams in each Full Throttle event.
These teams will also be given priority boat numbers for signing up for all the four qualifying events in each division, walleye or bass. Teams will also be given Full Throttle stickers for their boat and truck and will be required to have the stickers in place on each to qualify for the program.

New to 2012 is the Full Throttle Referral Program. Each team that refers a team of anglers to a Full Throttle tournament will be entered into a drawing to win a prize at each FT meeting. The team or angler that brings the most new teams throughout the 2012 season will win a grand prize and trophy at the end of the season. Must have referral name filled out on new anglers entry form.

Full Throttle is also a Ranger Cup tournament featuring the exciting Ranger bonus program. Participants must sign up on the Ranger website for this program that pays back the Full Throttle angler for fishing out of a Ranger Boat.

Rapid Sport Marine Group also has a  “Tournament Cash” reward program that rewards anglers for winning any Full Throttle tournament in a Rapid Sport Marine purchased boat at any of their locations.  $200 for first place and $75 for second or third place finishes in the respective FT tournament.  Must have Rapid Sport decal on boat to qualify.

Some other events to look forward to with Full Throttle include the Teen Challenge Fishing Tournament with Al Lindner and Jim Kalkofen and a Cops N Kids Event for 160 at-risk youth who are paired with police officers for a day of fun and fishing. There are also two new Full Throttle events: the Rapid Sports Owners Tournament and the Ron Schara Crappie Contest (Lake Minnetonka).
