This is one you will not want to miss!

NPAA Members Johnnie Candle and Bruce ‘Doc’ Samson announce their first Walleye school of 2014 to be held at Cedar Shores Resort, Oacoma, South Dakota on the beautiful Missouri River. Dates for the school are April 25, 2014 – April 27, 2014.

Each of the instructors brings with them a special skill set that makes this one of the most complete fishing schools ever offered.

Johnnie Candle is a 20-year veteran of professional tournament angler and the 2010 World Walleye Champion.  His fishing knowledge has been shared via the Scheels Walleye University Series he developed for the past 13 years.  His seminars have been given literally from coast to coast as he has presented in states from New York to Washington.

Bruce “Doctor Sonar” Samson is also a highly decorated tournament angler.  He has won 8 major professional walleye tournaments. He holds a World Walleye Champion title as well as an RCL National Championship title.  He is most well known for his DVD series on understanding sonar.  There is no better marine electronics expert in the country.

This school will utilize the skills of each teacher as you will learn to build a game plan to break down the water and locate fish quickly.  Your electronics will make much more sense when you leave.  The techniques for catching trophy walleye will no longer elude you upon the completion of this class.

New for 2014, we will be including both Lowrance and Humminbird sonar and GPS, the new mapping choices for Humminbird and Lowrance, the new forward looking sonar options and the new Vexilar SonarPhone.

Testimonial from a previous school:

“I learned more in short 4 day weekend than in 30 years of teaching myself: presented in a  true classroom fashion on a premier walleye lake!…..An outstanding value, the best money you will ever spend on fishing!”  R.J. Theil, Champlin, MN

“I just wanted to thank you Doc and Mr. Candle for putting on the Walleye School at Cedar Shores. I don’t do things like this often, but after going I am hoping to attend as many as I can. I learned LOTS of tips and tricks that I have over looked in the past. I also have to thank you Doc for personally taking the time to go through everyone’s sonars to be sure we have everything top notch.

I also have to thank Mr. Candle for teaching me how to run my I-pilot, that sped up my learning curve by a mile. Cedar Shores couldn’t have been a more perfect place. Great room, nice staff, beautiful, secure marina and surrounding, along with tastey food. It was amazing to share fishing stories and make new memories with the other avid fishermen that were in the class.

I made great new friends and fishing buddies. And last but not least, it was one of the best and most fun weekends I’ve ever had, the fish even cooperated. THANKS AGAIN FOR THE MEMORIES.”  Josh Olson
