Esiason and PWT Team up for Celebrity Shootout

Aikens Lake Wilderness Lodge will host the Inaugural In-Fisherman Professional Walleye Trail Celebrity Shootout, Sept. 18 to 21. The walleye fishing event in Manitoba will benefit the Boomer Esiason Foundation, which provides financial support to find a cure for cystic fibrosis.Esiason and other celebrities will team up with the top 10 anglers from the PWT, North America’s most prestigious and influential walleye fishing circuit. The event will be broadcast on The Outdoor Channel as part of the PWT television series which airs from October 2006 through March 2007.”Fishing events have long played a role in calling attention to causes like finding a cure for cystic fibrosis,” says Esiason. “I was at Aikens Lake Wilderness Lodge this past summer with my two children. It was an experience of a lifetime.
