Rookie leader Aaron Deal was unsure what the weather would do to his bite on Day Three, but he had bigger issues to deal with yesterday evening.

By days end yesterday, the trees had been pretty unforgiving for Deal and his tackle. The majority of his fish have been coming on one hot crank, a Reef Runner of undisclosed model or color, and he was down to two.

Deal spent the last few hours of the day scrounging through his boat looking for any extra crankbaits that he might have stored, and lo and behold actually found four – two of them in the hot color. He's hoping that those, combined with others donated from three fellow pros, will last through the final day.

He did say that he was going to try a few more natural looking color crankbaits due to the clear water he has been targeting and lack of wave action predicted for today.
