The field of Pros hit the water at 7:30 this morning under clear skies, a promise of warming temperatures to near 80 degrees, and light winds. A NE wind during practice had the bite down to what most of the Pros described as ‘tough, but improving.’

The Pros said that almost every technique in the box has been working, so there doesn’t appear to be a single ‘hot’ presentation. Most of the Pros said a good fish in practice was in the lower to mid 20″ range, and the weight to shoot for is going to be about 20 pounds a day.

In an AIM morning interview, Lund Pro Ted Takasaki said his bite has been improving as the weather turned around during the pre-fish period, and he expects the fish to cooperate today and the bite to improve throughout the event.

The live weigh in wirecast will begin at about 4:30 today, and will be available on this website, www.thenextbite.com, www.walleleyefirst.com, and www.wired2fish.com.  Each Pro is able to CRR 7 fish per day, and the top two or three will be displayed on the Big Screen at the weigh in, and on the wirecast. On the water action, morning interviews, and more will also be part of the show.
