Splake Fishing in the Porcupine Mountains! | Mirror Lake | Little Carp River
The Porcupine Mountains in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan is an amazing place to hike camp and go fishing! We had a Cabin out in the middle of the State Park and almost every day we would go out and catch some nice splake, suckers, and creek chubs! The suckers and splake were our main target species but the chubs were a mere nuisance. The fish would mostly be biting worms but the bigger fish would eat a full chub minnow.
