Big muskie caught on Turtle Flambeau Flowage in Park Falls, WI on 8/16/2009

As I said in another previous entry, I didn't have much time to fish this year because I was studying for the DAT. But made a special trip up to the TFF with my good buddy and his dad for a weekend of musky fishing. We had a great weekend, boating a few other fish, but coulndn't get one in the boat for my buddy's dad, Gary. He had multiple opportunites, but couldn't capitalize in getting one to the net. He still had a great time, especially when he saw me battle this fish! Absolutely hammered a Homewrecker topwater about 25ft from the boat and put up an amazing fight, one of the best I ever experienced. Jumped completely out of the water at least 5 times, pulled drag like none other, and just never gave up until the net slide underneath. Definitely one I'll always remember. It also was pretty cool to get my good buddy, Jake, in the photo since we had an extra man in the boat.
