Big muskie caught on Lake Miltona in Alexandria, MN on 6/10/2007
This fish was caught on an orange/black Pacemaker over 18 feet of water at 8 pm. The wind had kicked up and the clouds had rolled in, so it was prime time for topwater. This brute followed the bait to within 25 feet of the boat before taking a shot. I got a single hook point into the roof of her mouth; not a great spot to hook a musky. The fish made several runs, but was finally netted. As soon as the musky hit the bottom of the net, the Pacemaker came flying out of its mouth. This is my biggest MN fish to date.
