Big muskie caught on Lake Michigan – Green Bay in Suamico, WI on 9/17/2016
Trolling with my 10 year old son Augustus. I caught a nice fish the week before with him in the boat and he said he wanted the next one. I'm not sure he knew what he was getting himself in to when he said that. Rod went off and I grabbed the rod and asked him if he was ready and handed it to him. There were definitely a few moments during the fight where I wasn't sure if he was going to make it but he kept reeling. I almost lost the fish for him by the boat trying to net it. Had a hook catch the net when I went down, luckily it didn't come off and I was able to quickly flip the net and scoop. That's his second musky and first one trolling. A replica would be for him.
