Big muskie caught on Greenwood Lake in West Milford NJ, NJ on 9/17/2013
Sept 17 - Greenwood Lake, NJ. Moved two mid 40" fish on a sunken island in the north side of the lake in the early afternoon. One on a reef hog, the other a bulldog both bright colors. Came back to the same spot around 6pm one hour before sundown and caught a 47" True Strain Musky on a black Weagle. Water temps 69-70 degrees. Caught in roughly 10-15' of water. Could have been the same fish I moved earlier. My biggest Musky to date and one I will remember forever. Flighting, netting, and photographing this fish alone was quite an experience.
