Frost is in the air and trophy musky fishing is the focus of all of us here at the Musky Shop. We have been receiving a lot of photos from our customers and encourage you to do the same. Watch our Facebook page and Twitter to see some of the latest catches. The mild fall weather up north has been some of the best we can remember in years. Unlike some previous years there has been no problem with availability of suckers and we stock a large supply for live bait fishermen. As we get closer to closing out our season in northern Wisconsin we know there are a lot of our friends around the country who will be fishing throughout the year as well as our international friends. Rest assured, we will be here to service your needs with all your favorite baits and tackle!

Northwoods Musky News
We are pleased to announce that meetings held between out local Northwoods Muskies Inc. Chapter and the Wisconsin DNR is resulting in additional bonus stocking to create a number of lakes to be designated as musky “action” waters. The Muskies Inc. members have donated substantial funding to help make this happen. The Musky Shop has been supportive of this effort and we applaud the cooperation between the Muskies Inc. chapter and the DNR to help improve the musky fishery in our surrounding waters. Abu Garcia Revo Toro S
Not to be overshadowed by the new Beast series reels, we are getting some very strong reaction to the Revo Toro S reels from Abu. Frame size is similar to the Beast but without some of the higher tech features the S comes in at a very modest price. Several of our guides have been using these reels and the feedback from both the guides and their clients has been extremely positive. Late Season GUide Tips
This month we get tips from our staff guides Elmer Jensen and Al Frost. Elmer advises to focus your hunt on the deeper and secondary breaklines to locate active fish. Al notes that as the season winds down following hard to soft-bottoms transition areas offers good opportunities to locating big fish and is an especially good tactic when fishing with suckers. When placing your orders at the Musky Shop, please notice that we offer a variety of shipping options. Our flat rate $5.00 shipping is a popular option for regular orders. If you need something a little faster and time is a consideration then standard shipping will be a better choice. For those of you who may need something in a real hurry we do offer two day and next day express service. Oversize items are subject to extra costs and if there is any question about your order and shipping cost feel free to call us and we will help you determine the best way to ship your order. We do ship to most international addresses and will contact you with a shipping quote for your overseas orders.
