2026 George’s Muskie Show
The 33nd annual Minnesota Muskie Expo will be held in conjunction with the Minnesota Anglers Boat Show. These shows are excited to announce their new location at Canterbury Park in Shakopee for the 2026 Expo on February 27, 28 and March 1. This years show is sponsored by Frankies Marine and Rangers Boats. It will be the biggest Muskie Fishing Expo ever held anywhere, with 40,000 square feet of show, including 155 booths filled with “nothing but muskie” and a selection of the best fishing boats made, it’s a must-see event. Make plans to attend this exciting show held in honor of its founder, George Wahl. Show hours are Friday, 1:00 to 7:30 pm, Saturday 10:00 to 6:30 pm and Sunday 10:00 to 4:00 pm. Parking at Canterbury Park is FREE, with spaces for more than 1000! Admission is $12 daily or $20 for a 3 day pass and kids 12 and under are free.
As always, there are so many new products to come see this year! The Muskie Expo retailers have some of the lowest prices on electronics, rods, reels, nets and lures. More than 50% of the booths are the tackle manufactures that sell direct to you- with custom show colored baits and new lure designs that the fish have never seen before. There are resorts from the best muskie waters across Minnesota and Canada to help plan your next vacation. This is also the place to quiz the world’s top muskie guides on their secrets of success and to book a fishing trip with them for the 2026 season.
Ranger Boats is the title sponsor of the Minnesota Anglers Boat Show, which will have a great selection the newest models of boats by Ranger, Lund & Alumacraft. These are the best names in the industry and the dealers will bring the lowest prices of the year on boats to match your every fishing need. During a time when keeping inventory has been a problem, the show will have IN STOCK boats, electronics and marine accessories.
The Minnesota Muskie Expo is the best place to learn the how-to’s of becoming a more successful muskie angler. Seminars by the industry’s top anglers will detail the tackle, tactics and lakes that produce so many trophy muskies for them each year. Some of the 2026 seminar speakers include Mike Keyes, Gregg Thomas, Luke Ronnestrand, Josh Borovsky and Doug Wegner. These high tech presentations will share tips on everything from how to pattern trophy muskies to the latest tackle and tactics that will put more muskies in the boat for you. Buy a weekend pass and attend all the seminars to maximize your chance for success on the water this season.
Don’t forget the kids! Kids 12 and under are free all weekend! They’ll be thrilled at the trout pond sponsored by Fishing For Life along with the archery and shooting range. They will also be proud of the lures they build themselves at “George’s Tackle Box” where they can design and assemble their own tinsel spinners, jigs that they can paint and rig, plus air brush up their own muskie crankbaits- all to take home for free ($50+ value)! The kids area is sponsored by Mike Lee and the Hanifl Foundation and has proven to be quite affective in helping kids generate a passion for the sport of Muskie fishing.
All attendees are entered into a drawing for a guided day of muskie fishing with 3 of the states top professional guides as well as an assortment of tackle.
