2015 Muskie Lure World Championship a Success

The 2015 Muskie Lure World Championship has concluded with the on-line auction and we are very pleased to announce that $1495.00 has been raised to help promote fishing through our Future Anglers and the NPAA. 

The money will help kids get involved in fishing through the Future Angler Program in various ways including seminars that are held throughout the Midwest and the purchase of fishing equipment.

The prized lures were displayed and voted on at the Muskie Expo Chicago and Milwaukee and then on-line at MuskiesFirst.com.  There were over 1300 votes cast to determine the winners of 6 different catageries and 2 divisions plus best of show.  After the voting was completed the lures were displayed on an on-line auction where anglers and collectors could bid on their favorite one to potentially win a piece of history while supporting our youth in fishing.  A total of 24 lures were auctioned off and were sold up to $200.00 each.
