Crappie seminar offered to fishermen

Men, women and children are welcome to attend a free crappie seminar at 6 p.m. June 28 at Southside Apostolic Church, 1716 E. Firmin St.

Instructors Mike and Roger Addison will teach fishermen how to catch white and black crappie with lures, bait, rigs and jigs. They will explain the differences in fishing rods and new methods called Spider Rigging and Dock Shooting Techniques.

Some free fishing tackle will be given to the first 25, ages 15 and younger. Door prizes are three Eagle Claw Rod and Reel combinations.
