Zoom Bait Company announces the release of the new Zoom 5″ Swimmer hollow bodied swimbait. This new swimbait has a very realistic shad-shaped body and a lively paddle tail for lifelike swimming action. This style of lure has taken the bass world by storm over the past half-decade, moving from the west coast fisheries where they first emerged to blanket the nation. With this introduction, Zoom has now perfected the style, ensuring uniformity, a constant swimming action and ultra-natural characteristics that had previously been lacking.
The five-inch swimbait moves water at any speed, and can be fished from 6 inches of water all the way down to the deepest depths at which bass swim. It can be applied to a wide variety of techniques, too. While the Swimmer is exceptional on a weighted swimbait hook or a jighead, it’s also deadly on the back on a vibrating jig or swim jig, or even on a castable umbrella rig. The five-inch size presents a sizeable meal for trophy fish, but it also enables you to fill your limit.
The Swimmer will initially be available in six colors – Shad, Tennessee Shad, Ayu, Hitch 1, Chartreuse Blue and Blueback Herring – to meet a wide variety of water colors and forage bases. Each one comes out of its clamshell package perfectly straight and intact.
The Swimmer will soon be available at leading tackle stores and online retailers.
