Teams Positioning as SOY Season Nears Half-Way Mark
Updated Standings in the 2019-2020 Bass Pro Shops School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia Race
SAN ANTONIO, TX (November 11, 2019) – In the college football universe, the Top 25 rankings are king. Right now, football season is three-fourths of the way over and teams are positioning themselves for the post-season by trying to move as high up in the rankings as possible. For college fishing, the Bass Pro Shops School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia is the greatest measuring stick for a team to know just exactly where they stand among the nation’s elite. With just one moth remaining in the fall semester, the 2019-2020 season is almost halfway complete, and teams can begin making plans for their title run in the spring.

Here is a look at the teams that made a move up inside the Top 25 after this most recent update:

21) University of North Alabama (Prev. 40)
14) Clemson (Prev. 17)
11) Carson-Newman University (Prev. 13)
9) Bryan College (Prev. 11)
8) Blue Mountain College (Prev. 10)
6) Bethel University (Prev. 7)

Adrian College & their SOY “yellow jersey” Custom BUFF Headwear.

Two events were added to the most recent update, a regional event on Lake Hartwell for the FLW, and the Battle of the Bluegrass hosted by Campbellsville University. Campbellsville earned 50 points for hosting this school-run event.
