Registration for the 10th Anniversary BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship to close May 11

As the 10th Anniversary BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Presented by Cabela’s draws near, anglers prepare for the fourth annual trip to Florence, Alabama to fish the world renowned stretch of the Tennessee River, Pickwick Lake on May 20-22 to crown a Collegiate Bass Fishing National Champion. Anglers are encouraged to Sign Up for the 10th Anniversary of the BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship event before the absolute cutoff date on May 11.

“We at Florence Lauderdale Tourism are very excited to bring the 2015 BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Cabela’s back to Pickwick Lake for the fourth year. Premier college bass anglers will be celebrating the 10th Anniversary of this awesome event. Over 100 colleges will be represented by incredible ambassadors for their Universities,” said Suzie Shoemaker, Sports Marketing and Special Events Director at Florence/Lauderdale Tourism.

Schools that have fished with the Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series prior to the BoatUS Championship event will be allotted two boats, with the possibility of earning a third spot, based on their standing with the series. Every club is guaranteed entry for one two-person team up to the cutoff date of May 11 and no team will earn more than three total entries.

Official Practice until 3:30pm 
Followed by Yamaha’s Angler Appreciation Night

(4pm – 8pm at McFarland Park)

 

      Wednesday, May 20, 2015        

Official Practice until 2:30pm  

Followed by Registration and Banquet

(2:30pm – 7pm Shoals Marriott Conference Center) 

          Thursday, May 21, 2015            

Day 1 Competition
