Elias time.

Veteran bass pro, Paul Elias, had a strange experience with time over the last two days.

“It’s kind of funny,” said Elias. “Yesterday, when we weren’t fishing, time moved five times slower. Today, on the water, time just flew by.”

K-Pink on a strict diet.

Kevin Short caught a limit today at the Bull Shoals Elite Series event. It wasn’t huge at 7 pounds 14 ounces. He shared what his diet consisted of today.

“I thought I had something going on out here,” said Short. “What I had was a crap sandwich. I don’t want another crap sandwich tomorrow.”

Klein upbeat.

Gary Klein always has a positive spin regarding fishing. Today was no different for this veteran of multiple decades on tour.

“Well it’s a start,” said Klein. “I’ll take it. This is one of the prettiest lakes in the world. It reminds me of the Northern California lakes I grew up on. I won here in 1988. I just need to eventually stumble on to a 4-or 5-pounder.”
