Plano, IL (August 26, 2015) – Plano Synergy, parent company to the time-trusted Plano and Frabill fishing tackle brands, is proud to announce the addition of Bassmaster Elite angler Stephen Browning to their Pro Staff. Browning competes in the prestigious Bassmaster Elite Series, where he has earned three first-place finishes, 31 top-ten finishes, ten Classic appearances and nearly $1.2 million over his twenty-year professional angling career.

“A pro staffer should do more than slap a few decals on their boat,” says Plano Synergy Vice President of Marketing, Pete Angle, who relies on Plano’s diverse pro staff for all manner of service, from brand representation, product development and enhancement to the integration and promotion of youth participation, conservation and other initiatives. “Pick the right pros and you never have to worry about what they are doing to support your brand… you can focus on supporting the meaningful work they’re already engaged in,” Angle continues. “Stephen certainly falls into this category. He’s an active advocate for fishing and conservation and a professional by every measure. We couldn’t be happier to help support Stephen on the Bassmaster Elite tour.”

A resident of Little Rock, Arkansas, Browning will help spread the word about Plano and Frabill products while on tour this season, as well as through his extensive social media reach and innovative News and Notes From the Boat features on stephenbrowningoutdoors.com.

“Whether you’re a tournament angler or fishing for fun, preparation is the key to angling success, and organization is a primary ingredient of that preparation,” says Browning, who has relied on Plano tackle storage products throughout his angling career. “Organization translates to speed and efficiency, which can keep you ahead of the next guy during a tournament, or help you have more success when fun fishing.”

Browning’s tackle management is based on the Plano 3500, 3600 and 3700 series Waterproof StowAway Utility Boxes. “I have hundreds of them, preloaded and labeled by specific lake or river system,” says Browning. “Everything is separated. When I head to a tournament, all I need to do is load them into the boat and I’m confident I’ve got everything I need to succeed.”

When not fishing, Browning is an avid bow hunter and enjoys spending time in the woods with his 13-year-old son, Beau.

Browning joins Bassmaster Elite anglers Brent Chapman, Brent Ehrler, Chad Morgenthaler, John Murray and Kevin VanDam on the Plano Synergy Pro Staff.

PLANO FISHING
A tradition of excellence. Owning a Plano® tackle box has become a heritage that has endured for more than half a century. In 1952, Plano introduced the first molded plastic tackle box. For the next fifty years, the Plano brand found its way into the hearts and hands of four generations. Today, there’s a 4 in 5 chance that if you own a tackle box, it was made by Plano. There are many reasons why consumers choose Plano, including quality, durability and innovation, but our favorite is “It’s what my dad always used.”

PLANO HUNTING
Innovation and quality are the traits that have become associated with the Plano® brand. Thousands of hunters and shooters have come to trust Plano for the storage of their firearms, bows and hunting accessories. Since 1952 Plano has been supplying outdoor enthusiast with storage solutions that allow them to make the most of the time they have outdoors.
