Pickwick Catch-A-Dream Bass Classic registration starts Feb. 2

Early Bird Registration for the May 30th Pickwick Lake Catch-A-Dream Bass Classic will begin online at noon on February 2nd and run through May 14th. A properly completed and signed official application along with the $175 early bird fee must be submitted online or registration post marked by May 15th. Registration after May 15th is $200 per team.

Anglers that participated in last year’s event will have registration brochure mailed to them , however, team blast off positions will be in order of entry received except for teams designated as boat sponsors. Those will receive the first positions determined by how many there are.

Expectations are running high for the event as Catch-A-Dream Foundation staff and supporting sponsors working to make this the best year ever. The 2015 Pickwick Lake Catch-A-Dream Bass Classic is expected to draw a large turnout with first place paying $5,000 to the winning team based on a 80 boat field or prorated accordingly for fewer boats. Phoenix Boats has sanctioned it a Tier Two First Flight Program event. Bass Cat Boats has also sanctioned it as sanctioned Quest program event.

New divisions for the 2015 Pickwick Lake Catch-A-Dream Bass Classic are couples and youth. Couples and youth divisions will be competing in their division, in addition to the two person team division. To enter anglers are required to sign up when filling out their registration form.

Couple teams are required to have one adult male and one adult female over the age of 16. The couple team that finishes with the highest weight will win the division. Prizes to be announced at a later date.

Youth teams are required to have one adult angler and one youth 8- to 15-years old. Gender doesn’t matter in this division and the team with the highest weight will win the division. Prizes to be announced at a later date.

Fishing celebrity Joe Thomas will be emceeing the event at the Pickwick Landing State Park. Once a professional angler, Thomas now is the host of three Outdoor Channel series production TV shows.

Pickwick Lake Catch-A-Dream Bass Classic is being promoted by Hammer Fishing Rods, Cross Power Inc. and B&H Outdoors.

Registration for the tournament can be done online at catchadream.org/pickwick. Catch-A-Dream Foundation is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt non-profit organization, based in Starkville, Mississippi. Catch-A-Dream provides children age 18 and younger, who suffer from life-threatening illnesses, the chance of a lifetime to experience outdoor adventure.

2015 Pickwick Lake Catch-A-Dream Bass Classic is a non-profit bass tournament with proceeds from the tournament, silent auction, sponsor support and donations going to Catch-A-Dream Foundation.
