To close out the Bassmaster Elite Series postseason festivities in Montgomery, Ala., Lifehouse, a band that is responsible for more than 5 million album sales, will play a free, live concert on Saturday, July 31, immediately after the 2010 Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Angler of the Year is crowned.

Lifehouse, a popular alternative band, will perform immediately following the final weigh-in July 31.

Before Lifehouse hits the stage on the final day of 2010 Elite Series competition, chart-topping country artist Jason Michael Carroll will perform on Friday, July 30. Both concerts will occur at the Riverwalk Amphitheater, a big outdoor stage on the shore of the Alabama River in downtown Montgomery.

Music will begin immediately following each day’s weigh-in of the Evan Williams Bourbon Trophy Triumph. The Triumph will be the final event of the two-leg Elite postseason, in which the best 12 Elite anglers of 2010 will compete for the much-coveted Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Angler of the Year title and $200,000 top prize.

Based in Los Angeles, Lifehouse’s impressive career spans over 10 years. Their multiplatinum 2000 debut, No Name Face, produced “Hanging by a Moment,” a No. 1 alternative hit which crossed over to become Top 40’s Most Played Song of 2001, while 2002’s Stanley Climbfall solidified the band as a touring force.

Their 2005 self-titled platinum effort yielded “You and Me,” a giant hit ballad that set a record by spending more than 60 weeks on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. 2007’s Who We Are included the hits “First Time,” “Whatever It Takes” and “Broken,” which, combined, sold more than 3 million digital downloads.

Having just wrapped up a tour with Daughtry, Lifehouse is out promoting their fifth studio album Smoke and Mirrors, which includes first single “Halfway Gone,” the No. 2 most played song at Hot AC radio this year. Their current single “All In” is charging up the charts in a matter of just a few weeks.

An accomplished songwriter as well as a top performer, Carroll busted into the music scene with Waitin’ in the Country in early 2007. The album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart, sold a half-million copies and produced three Billboard Hot Country songs.

His sophomore album, Growing Up Is Getting Old released in spring of 2009, contains his fourth and fifth Top 40 hits. One is the heart grabber “Hurry Home,” about a father who leaves no stone unturned to find his runaway daughter. It’s not an autobiographical tale, but Carroll knows about fatherhood – he has four children.

And he knows about love. After an early marriage, three kids and a divorce, Carroll married his high school sweetheart, with whom he has one child. “Livin’ Our Love Song” – a piece he co-wrote – is a testament to his feelings for his rediscovered love. The song’s so popular it won an RIAA Gold Mastertone certification recognizing sales of 500,000 ringtones and ringbacks.

At the 2009 postseason, Zac Brown Band closed out the event in Montgomery to a capacity crowd. Kevin VanDam of Kalamazoo, Mich., won the Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Angler of the year title in come-from-behind fashion. The full field of postseason qualifiers can be found below.
